Colour
We are back to brown leaves - but there are many subtle colour variations

and most look green, even those there are only a couple of points where the a
channel is negative!
So I took an autumn scene out of the window
and lo and behold there are browns as well as greens.
So I am paying too much attention to the Hue clocks and not enough to
what my eyes are telling me.
Seems I've got it all wrong - but it only took me 3 attempts to get
there! |

not quite the same as an English summer, with
lots of negative 'a's! |

Here is the saturation mapping (lots of jpg compression again)

Wow this is really different from the last painting

This Bilbauld is a lighter painting than the Allegrain, so it
should be more saturated, if Dan's theory is correct. But I guess this is
not a great master piece.
